Things I learned from watching The Kingdom, starring Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper, Jennifer Garner, and others:
- In Saudi Arabia, they have literally no fucking clue how to do police work
- It’s pretty easy for an FBI agent to blackmail the Saudi ambassador
- I should not trust Jamie Foxx’s word in interviews when he says “The last half hour is incredibly intense,” because that could just mean that the film has a typical level of intensity for an action movie’s climax.
- Action movies are pretty much all the same no matter where they’re set
